What are Sutton Soccer Lessons?
Sutton Soccer Lessons are small group trainings designed to rapidly improve a player's ball control and confidence. Players in a Sutton Soccer lesson will receive hundreds of repetitions controlling and striking a ball on goal, and will progress along a step by step path to achieve a higher level of skill. A professional Sutton Soccer instructor guides the training and gives ongoing feedback to each individual player during the course of their lesson. The combination of consistent, successful repetitions and professional instruction makes Lessons highly effective at improving a player's skill level. Lessons are offered on a year-round basis and involve one hour of weekly training for a minimum of four weeks.
Who are Lessons For?
Players of all different skill levels, ages 8 to adult, can sign up for Sutton Soccer Lessons. Competitive players often sign up for Sutton Soccer Lessons to improve their technique and boost their game to the next level. Recreational players sign up for Sutton Soccer Lessons to learn proper techniques and to have more confidence in their play, and consequently more fun. Lessons are age specific, and may have some range of skill levels. Because the training is oriented around each individual and what they are doing with the ball, a range in skill levels is not a problem for training. If there is a large gap between skill levels in one group, players may occasionally be moved to a different group that is closer to their skill level.
Does Sutton Soccer Offer Team Training?
Teams can sign up for Sutton Soccer Lessons by joining an advertised slot for their age division (see Calendar), or by creating their own training time. Teams that want to create their own time slot can contact Sutton Soccer to check availability at different locations. In this case, teams have to divide their players up into groups of 6 or less for one hour lessons. Teams who sign up for their own slot must also commit to a four lesson series. On the team level, benefits of this training over time are seen through an increase in team chemistry, consistency, improved passing and receiving, goals scored, and games won. If a team wants to set up training at their own club field locations, they should contact Sutton Soccer in regards to starting a Club Partnership.
How Do I Sign Up?
